The Investigative Committee of Russia conducts intensive work on juvenile delinquency cases, over the past year more than 8 thousand such cases have been referred to the court. This was announced on March 7 by the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, at a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

In total, in 2025, according to Bastrykin, more than 93,000 criminal cases against 104,000 defendants were sent to the courts. At the same time, as a result of the interaction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB, it was possible to achieve compensation for damage to the state and victims totaling more than 128 billion rubles.
