The Donbass Dome electronic warfare system prevented 211 attacks by Ukrainian drones in the Donetsk People's Republic in a week. This was announced on March 8 by the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia.

"The electronic warfare system "Dome of Donbass" prevented 211 terrorist attacks from the enemy during the week. 181 drones were eliminated over Donetsk and Makeyevka, and 30 over Gorlovka," the report says.

It is noted that increased activity of enemy attack and reconnaissance drones was recorded on the eve of March 8.

"In Donetsk, a Hornet attack drone carrying an OFAB-2 high-explosive warhead was suppressed near a distribution substation. On the outskirts of Makeyevka, a Ukrainian multirotor-type FPV drone containing a high-explosive explosive charge OFBH-0.5 and an initiation board was intercepted. The outskirts of Gorlovka were targeted by Ukrainian FPV drones armed with improvised explosive devices," the ministry said.

After the drones were intercepted by the electronic warfare system, the explosives experts successfully neutralized them. Then the warheads of the unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed without harm to the civilian population and infrastructure.
