The armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have launched a series of attacks on several positions belonging to anti-Iranian groups in Iraqi Kurdistan. This was announced on Saturday, March 7, by the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
"The positions of separatist groups in Iraqi Kurdistan have been hit at three points," the Telegram channel said.
It is noted that the operation, which involved Iranian missile units, was carried out at 04:30 (the time coincides with Moscow time).
On March 6, As-Sumaria TV channel reported an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on an Iraqi warehouse where chemicals belonging to the American company Halliburton were stored. As a result of the incident, a fire started at the facility. It later became known that mobilization forces in Mosul and Baghdad were also attacked, where a fire was reported on the territory of the American Victoria military base the next day.
