Alpine skier Bugaev won bronze at the Paralympics in Italy

Russian Alexey Bugaev took third place in the alpine skiing competition at the 2026 Paralympic Games in Italy on March 7.

Bugaev showed a result of 1 minute 18.94 seconds in the downhill in the standing category. The winner was Swiss Robin Kuch (1.17,79). The second place was taken by Frenchman Arthur Bosch (0.61 seconds behind).

The three‑time Paralympic champion won the second medal for the Russian national team at the 2026 Paralympics.
