The Israeli Air Force (IAF) carried out an airstrike on the Imam Hossein main military University of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) located in Tehran. This was announced on March 7 by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

"The IDF has attacked several military facilities belonging to the Iranian regime, including the main military university of the IRGC, Imam Hossein University, which was used to train officers," a statement on the Telegram channel said.

The attacked facility, as explained, was allegedly used as an emergency resource, where the IRGC assembly complex has recently been established. Several military assets were identified on the territory of the educational institution.

As part of this wave, the IDF also hit the warehouse of the Iranian missile unit with a bunker and launch infrastructure located there, as well as underground ballistic missile storage sites with command posts.

The target, it was clarified, was an unnamed Iranian commander belonging to a high rank. On the same day, it became known about the strike on the underground military bunker of the assassinated supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, which was also located in the capital of the Islamic Republic.
