The State Duma recalled the four-day working week in June
In June 2026, Russians will have a short four-day week: we will work from the 8th to the 11th, and then a three-day weekend is expected. Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, recalled this on March 7.
"Since Russia Day, June 12, falls on Friday, and the day off following it, Saturday, June 13, is not postponed, Russians have a full—fledged three-day weekend," he told RIA Novosti.
