On March 6, the Russian national team appeared at the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games under the Russian flag for the first time since 2014.

The Russian delegation to the competition included Pavel Rozhkov, President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, Anastasia Bagiyan, a skier, Sergey Sinyakin, a leading athlete, and Ekaterina Pronina, the team's press attache.

A total of six Russians will take part in the Games this year.
