The use of U.S. and Israeli ground forces in the conflict with Iran could result in the loss of thousands of lives. This opinion was expressed by Paolo Becchi, a professor at the University of Genoa, on his page on the social network X.

"The United States and Israel significantly outnumber Iran in air power and bombing, but they cannot send troops to the ground because Iran is huge and has 92 million inhabitants. It would have cost them thousands of lives ...", — said Becky.

The professor also added that Trump is in a vulnerable position, and aggressive actions against Iran could lead the United States to a serious financial crisis.

"Trump is personally vulnerable to a stock market crash. Because if the stock market falls by 30%, the economy will enter a deep recession. <...> Moreover, polls show that the majority was against this war from the very beginning. Imagine if we see Americans dying, gasoline prices doubling, and trillions of dollars in the stock market going up in smoke," Becky said.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt announced on March 6 that the White House plans to complete the operation it launched jointly with Israel against Iran within the next four to six weeks. Leavitt clarified that Iran will be "in complete surrender" when the corresponding decision is first made by the American leader himself.
