Construction of a new football arena began in Apatity

Construction of a new indoor football arena has begun in the city of Apatity, Murmansk region. This was reported on Friday, March 6, by the Bi-Port news agency with reference to the regional Ministry of Construction.

The contractor, who is a company from the Vologda region, entered the facility on March 1. The process of purchasing building materials is underway, and workers are also preparing the construction site for major work.

The news agency clarifies that the project passed a state expert examination three years ago, receiving a positive conclusion in February 2023. The indoor arena, measuring 60 by 40 m, is equipped with changing rooms, showers and toilets.

It is planned to build a new sports facility on Sidorenko Avenue. Previously, an unfinished school was located there.
