A series of terrorist attacks planned by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran was prevented in Azerbaijan. This was announced on March 6 by the state TV channel AzTV.
"The strategic targets were the Baku—Tbilisi–Ceyhan oil pipeline, the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan, one of the leaders of the religious community of mountain Jews and the Ashkenazi synagogue," the publication says.
