A pickup truck that hit the sidewalk killed a child in Velikiye Luki

In Velikiye Luki (Pskov region), a boy born in 2014 died as a result of a car collision. This was reported to the Pskov news feed in the city department of the State Traffic Inspectorate.

The hit-and-run occurred on Friday morning, March 6, at 7 Grazhdanskaya Street. It was previously established that the 26-year-old Mitsubishi L200 driver lost control. A pickup truck drove onto the sidewalk and hit a 12-year-old boy.

As a result of the incident, the child received various injuries, from which he died. The police are conducting an investigation into the tragedy, and all the circumstances are being established.

On February 14, a 15-year-old girl was killed by a Shacman truck driving out of a garage in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. A criminal case was opened against the 46-year-old driver.
