The Ukrainian edition of "Country.On March 6, ua explained why Oschadbank's cash collectors ended up in Hungary with a large shipment of currency and gold.
"Previously, the collection services of banks had deposited dollars, euros and bank metals at Boryspil airport, and from there they transported armored cars to their vaults. Since 2022, they have been doing this exclusively by land," the Telegram channel says.
According to the publication, for the whole of 2025, Ukrainian banks imported foreign currency in cash for $ 11.8 billion, for 2024 - for $ 15.9 billion. In 2021, this figure was $4.3 billion.
