A new season of the "School of District Leaders" has begun in Moscow

A new season of the training project "School of District Leaders", organized by the Center for Youth Parliamentarism, has started in Moscow. Participants of the program will study the system of work of administrations and authorities, master managerial skills and public speaking skills, and develop their own public projects with the support of mentors. This was reported in the metropolitan Department of territorial executive authorities.

According to Marina Prozorova, deputy head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow, 300 young Muscovites aged 18 to 30 who have already proved themselves in the socio-political life of their districts will be trained.

"300 young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who have actively manifested themselves in the socio-political life of their district will be trained at the School of District Leaders. For example, they held patriotic, creative and sporting events, collected humanitarian aid for fighters in their military and compatriots from new regions," Marina Prozorova noted.

The educational program includes four modules: "Project work", "Public speaking", "Politics" and "Media". Participants will study the legal regulation and mechanisms of government, develop local public initiatives, master the skills of creating media content — photos, videos and texts, as well as prepare for public speaking and participation in debates.

In addition to training sessions, the project participants will work with residents of their districts and interact with the Councils of Deputies of administrative districts. As a result of the program, the strongest graduates will be able to implement their own projects with the support of mentors and professional experts.

Summing up the results and awarding the winners is scheduled for autumn 2026. The Moscow Youth Parliament unites 132 regional youth chambers.
