The Liberal Democratic Party proposed to ban non-payers of alimony from registering cars

On March 6, LDPR State Duma deputies, led by party leader Leonid Slutsky, proposed banning alimony defaulters from registering cars and real estate, as well as opening bank accounts.

"It is proposed to establish that the following restrictive measures are applied to the debtor, whose information is included in the register: a ban on state registration of vehicles, self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment; restriction of state registration of rights to immovable property; refusal to open a bank account and perform other banking operations, except for money transfers to for the purpose of paying mandatory payments established by the legislation of the Russian Federation," RIA Novosti quotes the text of the explanatory note.
