The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has extended recommendations for air carriers not to operate flights over the conflict zone in the Middle East until March 11. The document was published on the website on March 6.

"Valid until 03/11/2026, unless reviewed earlier," the statement said.

The high-risk regime applies to the airspace of Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

On February 28, EASA appealed to air carriers not to operate flights in the airspace in the Middle East. In the report, the agency's experts pointed to a high risk to civil aviation.

On March 2, a temporary accommodation center was set up in Dubai for tourists who were unable to leave the hotel on time. Sleeping areas were equipped for them and catering was organized — tea and snacks were offered to visitors.
