The head of the logistics company announced a stock of products in Dubai for ten days
Dubai has about ten days' supply of fresh food left amid disruptions in global supply chains. This was announced on March 6 by Stefan Paul, head of the Swiss logistics giant Kühne+Nagel.
"In Dubai, for example, there is only fresh food for about ten days," he was quoted as saying by the German newspaper Heute.
The expert also pointed out that, in addition to problems with maritime supplies, currently 18% of the world's air cargo capacity is unavailable. Paul added that, following the Persian Gulf countries, the consequences of disruptions may be felt by European states.
Military expert Yuri Knutov noted on March 2 that the UAE had suffered the greatest number of Iranian attacks due to the US military bases located in the country, allied relations with Israel and disputed islands in the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, at this stage, Iran is trying to hit American military facilities that are less covered by air defenses and are located closest.
