Quarantine due to rabies was introduced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory district

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Mansko-Uyarsky municipal district is under quarantine due to rabies. Restrictive measures will last until April 22 inclusive in the Uyarsky district in the village of Tolstikhino.

In particular, it is forbidden to treat sick susceptible animals there, to visit the territory. An exception can be made only for personnel who perform production operations, for specialists of the veterinary supervision service and personnel who eliminate the outbreak of the disease, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

Earlier, on February 26, an animal rabies quarantine was declared in the city of Bogotol in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Restrictive measures will last until April 13 inclusive, unless a new case of rabies is detected in the territory.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in the Tyumen region, the number of localities quarantined for rabies increased to 43. The foci came close to the borders of the region.
