Fares for new Moscow —Region routes have been determined

Fares for travel on new Moscow transport routes connecting the capital and the region have been determined, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry.

"Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has approved plans for the development of routes of the Moscow—Region project for 2026. Together with the government of the Moscow Region, we plan to integrate 54 routes in the Western, North-Western, Northern and North-Eastern directions into the metropolitan transport system. We will launch the first seven of them in the spring," Liksutov said.

We are talking about routes connecting the Park Pobedy metro station with Odintsovo and Krasnoznamenskoye, the Kievskaya metro station with the village of Vlasikha, the Tushinskaya metro station with Krasnogorsk and the village of Istra. The fare will depend on the route and the payment method. On some routes, it also depends on the distance of the trip. At the same time, "Single" travel tickets with the "Suburb" zone will be valid on all routes: 4,450 rubles for 30 days, 11,400 rubles for 90 days, and 33,200 rubles for 365 days. With them, passengers will be able to make free transfers to the metro, MCD, MCC, buses, other suburban routes of the Moscow Region project, river electric vessels, as well as save up to 60% per year.

There will also be "Single" discounted travel tickets for students without a travel limit for 30 and 90 days with a "Suburb" zone costing 1,390 rubles and 3,960 rubles, respectively. In addition, free travel on the card of a Muscovite and a resident of the Moscow region remains for preferential categories.

"Passengers will be transported by new large-class buses, including those in suburban configuration. We received them as part of a contract for the supply of more than 500 modern buses. Convenient and reliable transport will connect metro stations near the MKAD with large settlements in the Moscow region, including Krasnoznamensk and Vlasikha," Liksutov emphasized.

By 2028, it is planned to include at least 30% of the currently operating suburban public transport routes in the Moscow transport system.
