Hungary has offered Ukraine to restore the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline within three working days, or to allow a group of inspectors to inspect the facility. This was announced on March 6 by Secretary of State of the Hungarian Ministry of Energy Gabor Tsepek.

"I have sent a letter to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine asking him to either restore the oil pipeline within three working days, or provide us with the opportunity to inspect the scene and conduct an examination at the substation in Brody," Tsepek wrote on Facebook (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
