In Yakutia, it was possible to save more than 200 thousand tons of hay in order to successfully complete the wintering of cattle and horses. It will end in 82 days. The winter stall period is running normally.

Municipalities report that the remaining feed is more than 200 thousand tons of hay, about 14 thousand tons of silage and almost 5 thousand tons of hayloft. In total, farmers managed to harvest about 459 thousand tons of feed for the winter season.
In all categories of farms, the number of cattle exceeded 151.5 thousand. During this period, more than 8 thousand cows calved. The number of horses exceeds 164 thousand heads. Almost 38 thousand horses were supplied for additional feeding.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to increase the volume of agricultural production by at least 25% by 2030 compared with 2021. The head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, set a goal to increase the volume of local production by 1.5 times by 2030.
