In the Amur Region, 73 million rubles were recovered from unscrupulous subsurface users in 2025 for causing damage. A record payment of 28 million rubles was made from an enterprise that was engaged in the extraction of placer gold in the Selimdzhinsky district. This is more than a third of all collected debts.

This is reported by IA PriamurMedia with reference to the press service of the Federal Migration Service of Russia for the Amur region. Employees of the department continue to collect debts from gold mining enterprises and individuals who are engaged in illegal mining of loose precious metals. They also apply measures to prevent the illegal use of foreign labor in this industry.

These measures are provided for by the federal law "On Enforcement Proceedings". We are talking about the seizure of debtors' property, the blocking and debiting of funds on their accounts, the prohibition of registration actions with property and the sale of property at auctions.

Last year, the bailiff service units managed to complete 12 enforcement proceedings against gold miners, the agency said.

Earlier it was reported that in the Khabarovsk Territory, the environmental prosecutor's office opened a criminal case on causing damage to soils in the amount of almost 625 million rubles. The decision was made after an audit of the implementation of legislation on mineral resources in the licensed area of the Kerbinsky district forestry.
