AvtoVAZ denied the transition to a four-day period

AVTOVAZ has no plans to change its work schedule and switch to a shorter working week. Izvestia was informed about this on March 6 in the press service of the car company, commenting on the publication of one of the popular Telegram channels about the allegedly planned transition of employees to a four-day shift next month due to lower car sales.

"Such false reports destabilize the situation in labor collectives and cause real damage to the domestic industry, which is developing in the face of unprecedented external challenges. The dissemination of deliberately false information about domestic enterprises actually supports the propaganda war going on from the outside against our country and our industry," the company's press service said.

AvtoVAZ stressed that the company's staff will continue to work on a five-day schedule with full pay.
