One person was killed and three injured in a car collision in the Trans-Urals

In the Kargapolsky district of the Kurgan region, as a result of a collision between a domestic car and a foreign car, one person was killed and four injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Thursday, March 5, on the 6th km of the Yekaterinburg – Shadrinsk–Kurgan–Kosobrodsk–Tverdysh highway. A Lada Vesta driven by a 47-year-old man and a Hyundai driven by a 48-year-old motorist collided.

As a result of the accident, the driver of a domestic car was injured, from which he died on the spot before the ambulance arrived. A second motorist and his three female passengers, aged 72, 45 and 20, were hospitalized in Kurgan hospital, the <url> news agency said.

The police are conducting an investigation into the fatal accident. All circumstances are being established.

The day before, a fatal road accident occurred in one of the regions of Siberia. On the 7th km of the Krasnoyarsk bypass, a 67-year-old Toyota Corolla Spacio driver drove into the oncoming lane, where she crashed into a DAF truck. The woman died.
