A fisherman fell through the ice in the Pskov region

In the Pskov region, a man fell through the ice while fishing. Rescuers provided assistance to the victim.

The incident occurred on March 5 in the Pskov region on the Velikaya River. A man born in 1965 fell through the ice, eyewitnesses called rescuers. Specialists managed to pull the man out of the water and bring him to shore, the Pskov news feed writes.

The local resident refused medical help after the examination and went home on his own.

In February, a skier in Karelia fell through the ice of Lake Ladoga. The victim died. Rescuers recovered the man's body from the polynya.
