American singer Britney Spears was arrested for drunk driving in California. This was announced on March 5 by the TMZ portal.

It is noted that the singer was spotted in Ventura County at 21:28 local time (08:30 Moscow time), after which she was detained by the local highway patrol. At the same time, Spears was released from custody the next morning.

According to the newspaper, she was driving alone in a black convertible. The trial of the singer in this case is scheduled for May 4 this year.
