Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin congratulated the residents of the capital on March 8 and presented state and city awards.

"I thank each of you who received well—deserved awards today for your contribution to the prosperity of our city, your warmth and dedication to your work," he wrote on the MACH messenger.

So, the medal of Luke Krymsky was awarded to the staff of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine — the operating nurse Madona Bondareva and the head of the department Elena Korotkova.

The title of "Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation" was awarded to Ruzanna Sukiasyan from the Romanov School, Larisa Tamarlakova from school No. 1577 and Galina Yakimova from K.A. Kerimov School No. 1583.

Elena Gritskevich, a fashion designer at the Gorky Film Studio, became an honorary cultural worker. The merits of Irina Degtyar, the head of production at Bakery No. 28, and Zhanna Bessonova, an electromechanic at the metro power supply service, were also noted.

Spanish language teacher at School No. 1252 named after Cervantes Marina Polisar received a certificate of honor from the President of Russia.
