The head of the GRU stated the need for the United States to negotiate between Russia and Ukraine

The United States needs negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine more than Russia. This was announced on Thursday, March 5, by Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Russian General Staff.

"Negotiations are more for them (the Americans. — Ed.) are needed more than we are," he said on the air of the news agency Vesti.

Kostyukov, speaking about the ongoing consultations with the American side on the Ukrainian issue, clarified that the dates and venue of the next negotiations had not yet been determined. He stressed that the United States is currently pursuing its global interests in the Middle East.
