The death toll from Israeli strikes on Lebanon has risen to 77.

The number of victims in Lebanon has increased to 77 people after the intensification of strikes and the start of a military operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This was announced on March 5 on the website of the Ministry of Health of the country.

In addition, at least 527 people were injured as a result of the Israeli attacks.

During a wave of strikes on March 4, Israel attacked a Hezbollah factory in Lebanon for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It is noted that the affected infrastructure was used by the group to carry out attacks against military personnel and Israeli citizens.

Israel is also scaling up military operations — it has launched a ground operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

At the same time, it was reported that during two days of Israeli bombing of Lebanese territory, 50 people were killed and more than 300 were injured.

Prior to that, on March 3, Israel attacked 60 Hezbollah and Hamas targets in southern Lebanon. Thus, as a result of the IDF strike on the city of Saida, the building of the Sunni political party "Islamic Group", which Tel Aviv accuses of supporting the radical Hezbollah movement, was damaged.
