On March 5, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called the attack of Iranian drones on Nakhichevan a terrorist act and demanded that the perpetrators be brought to justice, as well as an apology.
"The Azerbaijani state strongly condemns this heinous terrorist act, and those who committed it must be brought to justice immediately," he said during a meeting of the Azerbaijani Security Council.
