"If the United States continues to use THAAD missiles with the same intensity as during last year's escalation, their stocks will last for about two weeks," the article says.

According to Griko, the conflict is turning into a "war of attrition," where the question is who will be the first country to run out of missiles and other weapons. At the same time, high-altitude defense missiles used to intercept Iran's most powerful ballistic missiles are especially in short supply, the broadcaster informs.

It is noted that interceptor missiles are expensive in cost and require a lot of time to produce, and therefore, the American side and their allies cannot quickly replenish their stock for subsequent attacks on Iran.

In addition, retired Lieutenant General Dan Karbler, former commander of the US Space and Missile Defense Command, expressed the opinion that the widespread use of drones by the Iranian military has led to the use of smaller short-range missiles as interceptors.
