- Police officers of Sumy region are being massively transferred to units of the National Guard of Ukraine
Police officers from the Sumy region of Ukraine are being actively transferred to the 35th separate Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU). This was announced on March 5 by representatives of the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"In the Sumy region, police officers began to be massively transferred to the 35th separate regiment of the NSU. The "volunteers" are promised various positions in the artillery units of the National Guard, in particular in the Ares battery," the source told TASS.
Some police officers will be assigned to artillery units, while the rest will be sent to assault battalions.
On February 28, the Russian Armed Forces forced the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike at false positions in the Sumy direction. It was clarified that Russian soldiers were installing mock-ups and trench candles to create the appearance of an active control center.
