In 2025, the capital improved transport accessibility for 16 residential complexes, making travel more convenient. This was stated by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"We are constantly analyzing and improving the efficiency of ground transportation where necessary. Over the past year, more than 160 routes have been adjusted and 5 new ones have been launched. Now they make an average of more than 560 thousand trips per day. 20 routes have been changed to make it easier for citizens to get to new metro stations and medical facilities. We are improving the quality of passenger service on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," said Maxim Liksutov.

To increase the convenience of using transport in the capital, the route network is constantly being improved. Modern rolling stock starts operating in new residential areas, begins servicing new facilities, and stops are moved closer to their destinations, which reduces travel time and transfers to other types of urban transport.

As Liksutov noted, in 2025, 17 routes were adjusted for the opening of new stations on the Troitskaya metro line — buses and electric buses began to drive closer to the lobbies for more convenient transfers. Transportation services for 16 residential complexes have also been improved: 13 routes have been changed and a new route No. 202 has been launched.

In addition, experts analyzed the transport accessibility of more than 20 medical institutions and adjusted three ground transport routes to improve it. Within the framework of the Moscow Region project, 25 routes to the nearest cities of the Moscow region have started operating, and modern Russian buses of Moscow transport have entered the line.

600 modern bus shelters have been installed in the city to increase the comfort of waiting for transport. By the end of 2025, more than 1.1 billion trips were made by buses and electric buses, 35 million more than a year earlier.
