If the current growth rates of payments are maintained, by 2027 the maximum amount of maternity capital in Russia may exceed one million rubles. This was announced on March 5 by Alla Makarentseva, Head of the RANEPA Laboratory for Demography, Migration and Labor Market Research.

"Exceeding the threshold of 1 million rubles by the parent capital is possible as early as 2027 in its maximum amount," Makarentseva told RIA Novosti.
