Hero of Russia Uralbaev told the details of the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR
The success of the Russian Army in liberating the city of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) was largely due to the coordinated interaction between the various units. This was announced on March 5 by the hero of the Russian Federation, Captain Telman Uralbaev.
"In the beginning, when we started with offensive operations, we interacted with the 30th brigade, the 1435 regiment, helped each other, suggested routes. The enemy did not give us any hope that we would pass, but together with our comrades—in-arms, we have come a long way," the soldier said.
In turn, soldiers of the 1st battalion of the 506th regiment on motorcycles moved to the outskirts of Pavel Popovich Street and gained a foothold there. During the week, Russian fighters completely cleared the occupied area, which facilitated the further advance of the assault groups.
"Three fighters on motorcycles drove into Pavel Popovich Street, began mopping up this street, not immediately, but gradually, day after day they were mopping up. And the guys have already heard on the air that the guys are already working there, and they have already begun to reach out themselves, think over routes how to get in to help faster," Uralbaev said.
Then the forces of the 3rd battalion came to the rescue. At the same time, the soldiers of the 30th Brigade were moving along a parallel route.
On February 28, the Hero of the Russian Federation also said that the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were identified by Russian military personnel among civilians during their attempts to escape from Krasnoarmeysk — Ukrainian soldiers disguised themselves as civilians, wearing skirts. According to the fighter, there were many tattoos on the bodies of the disguised Ukrainian militants, including Nazi ones.
