Three-day weekends in March will not affect the salary of Russians

A three-day weekend in March will not affect wages if the month is fully worked out. This was announced on March 5 by Igor Balynin, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Finance at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

"If an employee has worked fully all month, then the availability of holidays and days off will not affect the amount of wages," the expert said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Balynin added that wages are calculated from the days actually worked, which are proportional to the number of workers, not calendar days per month.

On March 5, Valeria Sumina, head of the Human Resources Department at the Fix Price office, announced that July would be the most profitable month for a vacation of the year. It has the largest number of working days – 23.
