Defender of the Moscow hockey club (HC) Dynamo Artem Sergeev was sent off before the end of the match in the Fonbet — KHL tournament for tripping the referee. The meeting took place on March 4 and ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of Avtomobilist.

During the first period after the puck was thrown in, Sergeev rushed to fight for it, but accidentally tripped the referee, after which he fell. The defender was given a disciplinary fine until the end of the match for "physically influencing the referee."

In the current season, according to the results of 60 matches, Sergeev scored three goals and made 13 assists. Dynamo has 72 points, they occupy the sixth position in the Western Conference of the KHL standings.

French national hockey team defender Pierre Crinon was suspended from the team's matches on February 17 until the end of the Olympics in Italy for fighting with Canadian striker Tom Wilson.
