An elderly motorist died in an accident involving a truck in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Yemelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a female driver was killed as a result of a collision between a passenger car and a truck. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, March 4, at the 7th km of the Krasnoyarsk bypass. According to preliminary data, the 67-year-old driver of a Toyota Corolla Spacio drove into the oncoming lane, where she crashed into a DAF truck.

As a result of a head-on collision, the driver of a passenger car was injured, from which she died on the spot before the arrival of an ambulance, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.

Earlier in the day, a passenger car collided with a truck on the M-2 "Crimea" highway in the Tula region. Two people died.
