The marathon in favor of the wards of the Khabensky Foundation was held on the screens of the MAER

On March 3, more than 10 million listeners and viewers welcomed spring and made the world a kinder place at the New Radio AWARDS with a big Heart! For the third time, the unique project combined the prestigious music award ceremony and a ten-hour charity marathon in support of the wards of the Khabensky Foundation. The MAER media holding has been the communication partner of the award and the charity marathon for the second year.

During the 10-hour marathon, the main hits and super-innovations performed by bright freshmen and legends of Russian show business were played live.

"Thanks to the tremendous work of the team and the support of people who have trusted us for years, the Foundation has increased both fundraising and the amount of assistance it provides to children and young adults with brain tumors. Many thanks to New Radio for this unique project. It doesn't matter how much people send — 100, 50, 10 rubles. It's important how many people do it. I notice how people have become more attentive to those around them, and this is very good," said Konstantin Khabensky, founder of the Foundation.

The headliner of the award was Leonid Agutin, who presented a large exclusive concert set. All in order to provide assistance to those who are in dire need of it — children and young adults with brain tumors, wards of the Khabensky Foundation.

Starting at 8 a.m., the MAER media holding launched live broadcasts from the charity marathon not only in Moscow, but also in Kaliningrad, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Sochi, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Volgograd, Perm, Ufa and Anapa. In 10 hours, the broadcast moments were seen over 12 million times on the streets of their cities.

"We see millions of people all over the country coming together, as music, media and a sincere desire to help turn into real lives saved. To draw attention to the charity marathon, we lit millions of hearts all over Russia on February 16, and on the day of the award itself, set aside 15-minute slots every hour for live broadcasts on the most popular walking routes and main highways of Russian cities. Sometimes it's enough to just stop and open your heart to the good. Konstantin Khabensky helps a huge number of children, we have been friends for many years, and it is important for me and the entire media holding to help such kind projects," said Konstantin Mayor, owner and CEO of the MAER media holding.

In total, the combined efforts of listeners and viewers, the New Radio team, partners and artists participating in the ceremony raised more than 17 million rubles. The collection lasts until March 9th inclusive. The entire amount will be used for targeted assistance — treatment and rehabilitation of the Foundation's wards, as well as the purchase of equipment for medical institutions.
