Khusnullin announced the fulfillment of all plans for road construction in 2025
All plans for road construction in Russia for 2025 have been completed, with a total of 28,000 km of roads built, repaired and reconstructed. This was announced on March 4 by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
"We have fulfilled all the plans for roads, which are an essential part of the infrastructure. <...> A total of 28,000 km of roads were built, reconstructed, and repaired in 2025," Khusnullin said.
He noted that the work on regional and inter-municipal roads was completed by 57% against the 55% plan. In addition, the share of highways that are part of the backbone network has been completed by almost 76% against the planned 70.5%.
Khusnullin told Izvestia on February 25 that the construction industry in Russia had grown by 34%. He also called it the result of the systematic work of the government.
