An independent UN mission has recognized the attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran as a violation of the Charter.

On March 4, the UN Independent Mission acknowledged that the US and Israeli strikes on Iran were contrary to the organization's charter.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Russia and Iraq are calling on the parties to the conflict in the Middle East to refrain from attacks on civilian infrastructure. It was noted that it was important for the parties to cease fire and return to a diplomatic settlement.
