The United States drew attention to Iran's use of Yak-130 aircraft

The US and Israeli armed forces have drawn attention to Iran's use of Yak-130 aircraft for combat training flights. This was announced on March 4 by the American Military Watch Magazine (MWM).

The magazine writes that the Yak-130 is the most modern aircraft in the arsenal of the Tehran Air Force. It is noted that the machine can fire at a great distance outside the line of sight, which means that pilots can hit targets at extreme angles without pointing the nose of the fighter at them.

According to the author, the Yak-130 is significantly superior to most Israeli fighters. The publication also says that conducting training flights on these devices may mean that Iran is preparing to purchase new fighters.

"The Yak-130 is the only new type of combat aircraft received by the Iranian Air Force over the past 35 years," the publication says.

The loss of the fleet will not be critical for Tehran, experts believe.

Three American F-15E fighter jets were shot down on March 1 over Kuwait by friendly fire. The pilots were evacuated and are in stable condition. On the same day, Tasnim news agency reported that the Iranian Armed Forces shot down an American fighter jet in the skies over Kuwait, and the crew managed to evacuate. The videos attached to the publication show two pilots ejecting from a burning aircraft.
