The Turkish Defense Ministry announced the destruction of a missile from Iran.
A ballistic missile, allegedly launched from Iran, was destroyed in the skies over Turkey. This was announced on March 4 by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
"The NATO air and missile defense forces stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean intercepted and neutralized a ballistic missile launched from Iran in a timely manner," the ministry said in a statement on its website.
It is specified that the munition fell in the area of Dertiol, Hatay province, belonged to a weapon from which it intercepted a threat in the air. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
