In Pskov, on the night of March 4, the dismantling of the main Christmas tree began. The work is carried out at night.
The Pskov news feed, with reference to the city administration, writes that the decorations are being dismantled along the periphery to the city center. Some of the tripwires on the Olginsky Bridge are no longer there. The decorations were completely removed from Nekrasov Street.
In 2025, many new decorations were purchased for Pskov as part of the "Christmas begins Here" project. The project is designed for three years. It is being implemented with the support of the federal authorities.
Earlier, on March 2, it was reported that Tula had begun dismantling the New Year's tree on Lenin Square. A festive tree with a height of 32 m was listed in the Russian Book of Records as the tallest artificial trunk spruce. It is not specified how long it will take to disassemble the structure. The Tula Christmas tree is equipped with a multimedia design with a diameter of 60 m, a luminous garland 30 km long and several dozen lighting effects.
