On March 3, the Znanie Award ceremony took place at the Rossiya National Center.The Award is the country's main educational award and the flagship project of the Russian Society Znanie. The names of 32 laureates in 18 nominations were announced. The award ceremony was attended by prominent government and public figures.

I would like to note that your multifaceted work is in great demand, it broadens people's horizons, forms a responsible civic position among people, especially among young people, fosters a desire for knowledge and self—development, and strengthens the bond between generations," Putin said.

Separately, the President congratulated on Mentor's Day, which was celebrated for the first time in the country on the eve of the ceremony. Sergey Kiriyenko joined the congratulations of the President of Russia and expressed gratitude to the tens of thousands of educators who throughout the country, as part of the lectures of the Znanie Society, daily impart not only their knowledge and experience, but also their personal example.

Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, announced the winners in the nomination "For Contribution to education in the field of Science and Technology". Natalia Popova, First Deputy Director General of the Innopraktika Development Institute, became the Educator of the Year. The second winner is the All—Russian Atomic Lesson project of the Rosatom State Corporation and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Alexey Likhachev, CEO of Rosatom State Corporation, personally received the award cube.

Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society, 1st Secretary of the Writers' Union of Russia, named the winners in the nomination "For their contribution to education in the field of History and Politics." The educator of the year was the international columnist Fyodor Lukyanov. His speeches at international forums and lectures for a wide variety of audiences — from government agencies to students and schoolchildren — explain Russia's foreign policy and current international situation in an accessible form. The analytical program of VGTRK "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin", the authors of which, Vladimir Solovyov and Pavel Zarubin, cover key events with the participation of the president on a weekly basis.

Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, presented awards in the nomination "For contribution to education in the field of Economics, Business and Law". Alexander Paretsky, Director General and Artistic Director of the Donetsk State Academic Philharmonic, was recognized as the educator of the Year in the nomination "For his contribution to education in the field of Culture and Art." In two years, he has implemented more than 500 cultural events, which were attended by over 100 thousand people. The international festival "Theatrical Boulevard — 2025" of the Moscow Department of Culture became the project of the year. The festival lasted 92 days — from June 1 to August 31 — and became the longest in the world. More than a thousand performances were presented at 14 venues with the participation of theaters from 30 regions of Russia and 12 countries, including Argentina, China, Serbia and France. The festival was attended by more than one and a half million people. The award was presented to the laureates by Olga Kazakova, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Culture.

Alexey Goreslavsky, Director General of the Institute for the Development of the Internet, presented the award in the nomination "For the best educational film". The winner was the film "Not on the list" directed by Sergey Korotaev, the general producer is Vladimir Mashkov. Through the fate of young lieutenant Nikolai Pluzhnikov, who did not manage to get on the unit's list, but fought against the enemy for 10 months, the film conveys the heroism of all the defenders of the fortress. The film was shown in more than 2 thousand cinemas across the country, it was watched by one and a half million viewers.

Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, awarded the winners in the nomination "For educational activities in an educational organization" in the categories "Educator at school", "Educator in the Vocational Education system", "Educator Adviser" and "Educator at the University". Peter Zemskov, a mathematics teacher from Chelyabinsk, became the educator of the year at the school.
