The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced the start of a new wave of strikes against government targets in Tehran. This was reported on March 4 in the Telegram channel of the army.

"The Israeli Air Force has launched large-scale strikes against targets of the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran," the statement said.

During a strike on Beirut on March 3, the Israeli army eliminated a high-ranking representative of the Quds Force (a special unit of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), who was responsible for strengthening the military potential of the Hezbollah movement. On the same day, the IDF occupied several control positions on the Lebanese side of the border. The army explained that they are working to create an additional level of security for residents of Northern Israel.
