VTB announced the beginning of the transfer of loans to retail customers of the Post Bank

VTB has started transferring 1.3 million loans from retail customers of Postbank as part of its integration processes. The transfer of the portfolio is carried out under an assignment agreement with full compliance with the current terms of the loan agreements. To further repay the debt, borrowers need to switch to VTB services and open a bank account. This was reported by the VTB press service.

"When transferring Pochta Bank loan agreements, we paid special attention to maintaining the "settings" that are always in the focus of borrowers' attention — comfortable payments, a familiar schedule, and a convenient format for repayment. All the client needs to do is open an account on time, and we will deliver his loan to VTB without any changes in the schedule," said Dmitry Breitenbicher, a member of the VTB Management Board.

Customers can open an account remotely to service an existing loan. This account also provides the opportunity to use the entire VTB product line. In addition, you can open an account at any bank branch of the customer's choice.

The integration of Postbank with VTB started in February 2025. VTB debit cards, family banking services, and a loyalty program are already available to customers. They can also transfer their pension to VTB and make deposits or savings accounts.
