The Israeli Army (IDF) has launched a series of attacks on Hezbollah targets located in Beirut. This was reported on March 4 in the Telegram channel of the IDF.

"The Israel Defense Forces began attacking Hezbollah's infrastructure in Beirut," the report said.

It is specified that the details of the operation will be announced later.

During a strike on Beirut on March 3, the Israeli army eliminated a high-ranking representative of the Quds Force (a special unit of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), who was responsible for strengthening the military potential of the Hezbollah movement. According to the army, the target of the attack on Monday, March 2, was Reza Khazai.

On the same day, the IDF occupied several control positions on the Lebanese side of the border. The army explained that they are working to create an additional level of security for residents of Northern Israel. Targeted attacks are being carried out on Hezbollah's infrastructure to eliminate threats and prevent attempts to enter Israeli territory.
