The annual exhibition "Spring in Tsaritsyno Greenhouses" will be held in the greenhouses of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, subordinate to the Moscow Department of Culture, from March 4 to March 15. This was announced on March 4 by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on the website mos.ru .

It is specified that the guests of the exhibition will be able to appreciate the variety of daffodils, hyacinths and hippeastrums, as well as small bulbous plants such as Siberian forest, muscari and crocuses.

The exhibition will feature terry, fringed, lily-colored and parrot tulips, as well as triandrous, large-crowned, split-crowned and Armenian and azure muscari.

"For the exhibition, experts select bulbs, then plant them in containers with soil made of river sand and peat. Next, the containers are placed in the refrigerator, where they are stored for four months at a temperature of minus five degrees. Three weeks before the expected flowering, the bulbs are removed and placed in a special room, where they continue to maintain an air temperature of minus five degrees. When the plants begin to bloom, they are exposed to daylight and the temperature is raised to plus 18," the publication says.

It is noted that in addition to the flower exhibition, the greenhouses will host guided tours "Flowers for your beloved", where visitors will be introduced to the work of agronomists, the history of plants and the process of breeding new varieties.

The "Magic Garden" program from the "Music in Flowers" cycle has been prepared for children, where participants will create a primrose from decorative materials, get acquainted with the melodies of Maurice Ravel and find out which flowers and fairy tales the composer associated with his musical works. The events will be held from March 4 to March 7.

On March 3, the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities announced that in 2025, Moscow Youth chambers organized more than 8,000 events, including sports meetings, cultural events, and volunteer initiatives. The youth chambers of the Central Administrative District showed the greatest activity in terms of the number of events and engagement.
