Washington's attempts to establish a controlled regime in Iran may lead to the disintegration of the country. This was announced on March 4 by Iranian historian Fardin (name changed), who lives in Russia.

The forceful actions of the administration of US President Donald Trump do not contribute to democratization, but only plunge the region into chaos, Fardin believes. According to him, external pressure destroys the internal potential for reform.

"The bombing and the constant threat of violence are paralyzing the middle class, people who could become the engine of political change," the expert said in an interview with <url>.

Fardin stressed that in conditions of anarchy, separatists are becoming more active, which will jeopardize the very existence of the state.

"If Iran splits into several parts, it will be the end of the Iranian civilization as an integral project," he concluded.

Alexander Perendzhiev, a military expert and associate professor of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, noted on March 3 that the situation in the Middle East can only gain momentum: tensions remain around Iran amid the actions of the United States and Israel, the conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan is escalating, and the confrontation between Pakistan and India is not disappearing.

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a large-scale military operation in Iran. Trump called her goal the protection of the American people. Israel and the United States have carried out numerous attacks on military and civilian targets in Iran, including a school in the city of Minab. The largest Iranian cities, including Tehran, were hit. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has died.

In response, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 and attacked American military bases in the Middle East, as well as Israeli cities. Tehran is attacking the Persian Gulf countries.
