Russia wants to reduce the list of professions prohibited for women until 2027

The revision of the list of "non-feminine" professions in Russia is scheduled to begin in 2026, with the first changes likely to take effect in 2027, which will expand access to professions with an acceptable level of risk. Tatiana Ushkats, an expert at the RUDN University Faculty of Economics, told about this on March 4.

"The revision of "non-feminine" professions is planned during the year, and changes may begin as early as 2027. This will expand access to professions with an acceptable level of risk," she told RIA Novosti.
